Overview

The Department of Microbiology & Clinical Lab Technology made its humble genesis in 2009 to provide quality education. From the day of inception, the motto of our department is to provide holistic and intellectually perspective education to the women of Sivaganga district. Our department promotes Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology& CLT in a holistic manner. Our Department blossomed with 7 students and 2 staff members and after successfully completing 16 years of fruitful service, we are now having 94 students and 4 faculty members.

We enable students to face the competitive world with the state of the art Lab facilities. So as our students are qualified to be placed in reputed industries, R&D labs and corporate sectors across the globe. We offer world-class teaching experience through well qualified and well experienced faculty members. We have been following the ICT-based teaching which will promote interactive learning among the students. As a prolific department, our teaching pedagogies are student-centred.
