Dr. A. Hemamalini serves as the Principal of Dr. Umayal Ramanathan College For Women, bringing a wealth of academic experience and administrative acumen to the institution. With her qualifications — M.B.A., M.L.M., M.Phil., M.A., Ph.D., SLET — and extensive experience in higher education, she has been instrumental in shaping the college's academic trajectory.
Under her dynamic leadership, URCW achieved the prestigious NAAC Grade A reaccreditation with a CGPA of 3.22 out of 4 in its second cycle of assessment. This accomplishment reflects her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of teaching, research, infrastructure, and governance.
