About IQAC
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Dr. Umayal Ramanathan College For Women was established in accordance with the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The IQAC serves as a significant post-accreditation quality sustenance mechanism that works towards ensuring the quality enhancement and sustenance of the institution.
The IQAC channelizes the efforts and measures of the institution towards academic excellence by developing a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the institution. It plays a vital role in maintaining the standards that earned URCW its prestigious NAAC Grade A accreditation with a CGPA of 3.22 out of 4 in the second cycle.
Key functions of the IQAC include development and application of quality benchmarks, facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment, documentation of quality initiatives, organizing workshops and seminars on quality improvement, and preparing the Annual Quality Assurance Reports (AQAR).
