Committees
Statutory Bodies • Ensuring a Safe & Inclusive Campus
Statutory Committees
URCW maintains statutory committees as mandated by UGC and regulatory bodies to ensure a safe, transparent, and inclusive environment for all students and staff.
Grievance Redressal Committee
The Grievance Redressal Committee provides a transparent and accessible mechanism for students and staff to raise concerns and seek resolution. The committee ensures that all grievances are addressed promptly, fairly, and confidentially, maintaining a harmonious academic atmosphere. Complaints related to academic, administrative, or personal matters are received, investigated, and resolved in a time-bound manner.
Internal Complaints Committee
Constituted as per the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) ensures a safe working and learning environment. The committee conducts awareness programs, receives and investigates complaints, and takes appropriate action to prevent and address any form of sexual harassment on campus.
Anti Ragging Committee
In compliance with UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging, the Anti Ragging Committee ensures a ragging-free campus. The committee maintains vigilance, conducts anti-ragging awareness programs, monitors student behaviour, and takes strict action against any form of ragging. Students and parents sign anti-ragging undertakings at the time of admission.
SC/ST Committee
The SC/ST Committee safeguards the interests of students belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities. The committee ensures that these students receive all entitled benefits, scholarships, and reservations. It also addresses any discrimination or harassment and works to create an inclusive environment where every student can thrive regardless of their social background.
A Safe Campus for Every Student
URCW is committed to providing a secure and supportive environment. Admissions open 2026-27.
