Department of English was established on 2009.Since its inception, it has carved niche for itself in the area of literary studies by striking an inimitable balance between the traditional and contemporary components. In the beginning department has only 35 students now there is considerable up to 200. The department also encourages the students to take up significant amount of initiatives and motivating the activities during course. In a very short span of time the department has made its mark in the centre of literary studies.
