NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME

LEO Club Report-(2015-2016):

Leo club organized a “Personality Development Training Programme” on 22nd February 2016. Ln. Dr. RM. Lakshmanan was the chief guest for this programme and he gave speech on the topic “Passport to Paradise”. 90 PG students participated in this programme.

Visit to Alagappa University General Libraray:

On 26.02.2016 Reader’s club members went to Alagappa Univerity General Library. Reader’s club co-ordinators arranged the event. 25 students from various departments were benefited from this visit.

Rotaract Club

The Rotaract Club was inaugurated on 14th July 2015 by Dr.V.Manickavasagam ,Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Rotarian Rtn.PHF.PL.Chockalingam, Assistant Governor, Rtn.A.Muthuchamy,Chariman, Rotaract felicitated the function.

Dr.S.Jeyashree, Associate Professor, Department of Business Administration delivered the Presidential Address. 33 students participated and 27 trees were planted according to the constellation of stars.

Youth day celebration – 12.01.2016

Youth Red Cross organized competition for the students in order to celebrate Swami Vivekananda’s birthday. Nearly 60 students participated in the competition. Chief guest Dr.V.Sivakumar, Associate Prof, Alagappa Institute of Management, Alagappa University, Karaikudi, delivered a key note address on ”Role of students in YRC”.

Entrepreneur Development cell:

Entrepreneurship Development Cell conducted a special lecture on KVIC schemes to promote MSME on 19.02.2016. The chief guest Mr.R.Vasirajan development officer, KVIC, Madurai elongated the various schemes provided by central government and the proceeding to avail the loan through banks with subsidiary.

Faculty Development Programme

Faculty Development Programme was conducted on 29th March 2014. Dr.Panchanathan was the chief Guest. Trust Members Dr. Ramakrishnan and Dr. Dhandapani felicitated the occasion.

Training Program

Entrepreneur Development Cell was organized Training Program on 13th March 2014.

Providing Home to House Sparrow

Students from Department of Microbiology & CLT are keeping pots on the top of the tree for providing home to the Birds.
