Women Empowerment Cell

Our college Women empowerment cell was established in 2016.Gender inequalities is still deep-rooted in every society. Women suffer from lack of access to decent work and face occupational segregation and gender wage gaps. In many situations, they are denied access to basic education and health care and are victims of violence and discrimination. They are under-represented in political and economic decision-making processes. With the aim of better addressing these challenges ,we have framed following objectives.

Goals Of Women Empowerment Cell

Women empowerment cell works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls, empowerment of women, and achievement of equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian action and peace and security. The vital role of women and the need for their full and equal participation and leadership in all areas of sustainable development being reaffirmed.

Training And Placement Cell

The Placement Cell plays a crucial role in locating job opportunities for Under Graduates and Post Graduates passing out from the college by keeping in touch with reputed firms and industrial establishments. The Placement Cell operates round the year to facilitate contacts between companies and graduates. The number of students placed through the campus interviews is continuously rising. On invitation, many reputed industries visit the institute to conduct interviews.
The Placement Cell organizes career guidance programmes for all the students starting from first year. The cell arranges training programmes like Mock Interviews, Group Discussions, Communication Skills Workshop etc and it also organizes Public Sector Exam Training for students who are interested to join Government Sectors. It also invites HR Managers from different industries to conduct training programmes for final year students.

Skill Development Cell
Skill development initiatives will help the students to enhance their inert potential. The main goal is to create opportunities, space and scope for the development of the talents of the Indian youth and to develop more of those sectors which have already been put under skill development for the last so many years and also to identify new sectors for skill development. Skill development is the process of identifying your skill gaps, and developing and honing these skills. It is important because your skills determine your ability to execute your plans with success. A Oneday training program on ORGANIC FARMING was organized by Skill development cell on 5th July 2019. Skill Development Cell and ED cell jointly organized one day Training Program on TEXTILE/SCREEN PRINTING was organized on 17.07.2019. Various types of screen printing techniques were practically demonstrated to students. Also, a One day training program on APICULTURE was conducted on 09.09.19 and training being offered on the bee farming to students.

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell has been set up in the College with the aim of manifesting the latent entrepreneurial spirit of the young students and to build Entrepreneurial culture among students. The objective of promoting entrepreneurship among the youth is to nurture a passion for self-employment. The Cell organize several entrepreneurship awareness programmes, hands on training and guest lectures by successful entrepreneurs.

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) based attendance system is used to take the attendance of students or employees in our college. To take attendance, RFID thump our finger, and then the attendance of the respective person is noted down in the microcontroller memory. Our college is concerned about student security. Also the administrative person needs to maintain the attendance papers / sheets.
